Over 300,000 independent college alumni in Michigan

Since 2000, over 300,000 alumni from independent colleges and universities have stayed in Michigan to live and work. Over 11,000 of these individuals work for the Big Three auto manufacturers and over 8,000 work for the state’s largest health systems. The Michigan Tuition Grant makes all of this possible as 25 percent of independent college students are supported by these funds.
