Student Veterans
There have been some updates from VA on how the new law (https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/senate-bill/3503/text?r=1&s=1) allows VA some flexibility. This legislation, while making concessions for the current impacted semesters, would also temporarily allow full housing pay for online only students who are enrolled full time for the spring/summer and fall semesters. School Certifying Officials have the opportunity to get on webinars next week to learn processes to support this law and assist vets. See the FAQ here.
Schools are being asked to hold all certifications, amendments or adjustments to VA that are related to changes due to C-19 - until further notice.
