Building Research Infrastructure, Networks, and Knowledge (BRINK) Conference

Join us for the first BRINK conference at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI. This conference is a free opportunity for RAD professionals to:

  • Learn how to use the fundamentals of Appreciative Inquiry (AI) and the SOAR framework to guide positive conversations for strategic thinking, planning, and leading (learn more: www.soar-strategy.com);

  • Select from concurrent sessions on topics of interest to Michigan RADs;

  • Get to know colleagues in Michigan’s higher education institutions who can support you in building research infrastructure, networks, and knowledge beyond the conference; and

  • Envision ways to advance research and development across Michigan.

Dinner groups will be facilitated. Early registrants will be provided a travel stipend. Hotel stays will be supported on a case-by-case basis for registrants until our capacity for this support is reached.

Participants will be invited to quarterly follow-up mentoring/coaching sessions and to share their best practices in building research capacity and successful outcomes over the year at the BRINK symposium in June 2025. Click here to register for the June 2024 BRINK Conference.
