Community college and independent institution transfer specialists are invited to bring a team of 3-5 people to a transfer retreat focused on improving access and completion of bachelor’s degrees for transfer students from community colleges.

The project is a collaborative effort between the Michigan Community College Association (MCCA) and the Michigan Independent Colleges and Universities to enhance transfer student access at independent institutions, focusing on the liberal arts pathways. The overall goal is to increase the number of transfer students completing a bachelor’s degree from independent institutions. The project is generously funded by the Teagle Foundation and the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations.
