MiWorkforce Pathways - Industry Credentials Workshops

MICU is continuing its work with the Michigan Center for Student Success at the Michigan Community College Association on transfer initiatives. Below is an update on the Strengthening MiWorkforce Pathways initiative; a program with the goal of building multi-institutional associate to bachelor’s degree transfer pathways from applied associate degrees to applied bachelor’s degree with participating colleges and universities.

_________

As part of the Strengthening MiWorkforce Pathways initiative, the Michigan Center for Student Success at the Michigan Community College Association is hosting a series of workshops to support institutions in their efforts to award academic credit for industry credentials.  In 2023, a new feature on the Michigan Transfer Network will allow colleges to share how prospective students can earn academic credit for industry credentials.  Please sign up for these workshops if you are interested and feel free to forward this email to anyone else at your institution who may benefit from attending.
