A MICU and MCCS partnership:
The Michigan Center for Student Success (MCCS/Michigan Community College Association) has launched a multi-faceted project, Strengthening MiWorkforce Pathways, designed to address several dimensions of successful workforce programs including program designing, awarding academic credit for industry credentials, building transfer pathways to the bachelor’s degree, and supporting timely advising interventions. MCCS is specifically interested in developing multi-institutional associate to bachelor’s degree MiTransfer Pathways between applied associate degree programs and bachelor’s degree completion programs. Programs of interest are Healthcare, Applied Business, and Information Technology (programming, networking, and cybersecurity).
The MCSS invites MICU colleges and universities to an information session on Thursday, November 4 from 2:00-3:30 PM to learn more about the project and how to signal their intent to participate. Registration is required.
