Our guest speaker, Michele Byerly, is passionate about providing service with a smile and sharing best practices with other executive assistants. She has worked in her current role as Executive Assistant to the President at Biola University since 2009. She will be sharing information on:

• Effective Communication to Convey Your Message: From written correspondence to spoken conversations to non-verbal signals, clarity and intentionality are critical for getting your message across in a way that reflects well on your, your supervisor, and your institution.

• How My Biggest Blunders Made Me Better: Teachability makes the difference between someone doomed to repeat the same mistakes and someone who benefits from them. In this tell-all session, you’ll hear how Michele’s errors led to new systems, processes and ways of thinking and how yours can too.
